The Immigrant Story Live In-Person
Storytellers from Bosnia, Rwanda, and Cambodia will present first-person tales of courage, fortitude and resilience in the face of unimaginable challenges. These storytellers will share the stories of the arduous journeys that brought them to the United States.
Meet Elizabeth Mehren, author and editor, who has brought these stories and more together in the newly published collection, I Lived to Tell the World: Stories from Survivors of Holocaust, Genocide, and the Atrocities of War. Book signing to follow. Books will be available for purchase.
Free. First-come, first-seated. This event will be interpreted in American Sign Language.
