[VIRTUAL EVENT] Exploring Together: Voting, Information Gathering and Candidate Selection

[VIRTUAL EVENT] Exploring Together: Voting, Information Gathering and Candidate Selection Online

Voting is a civic duty that impacts the lives of every American in some way or another. Salem Public Library invites you to join us as we provide an opportunity for community members to do the important work of exploring the voting process in America. In this series of community conversations, staff will act as facilitators and work to establish a respectful and supportive space for everyone to contribute their thoughts, share questions, and explore the ideas from the readings and videos. Each of the three discussions will have its own focus:

  • Session 1: Information Gathering and Candidate Selection - June 20, 21
  • Session 2: Voting Styles and Impacts - July 18, 19
  • Session 3: Power and Representation - August 15, 16
